III. Scavangers of the Wasteland

One of the first game i can remember playing when i was a kid is Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, that game had a huge impact on me, loved the athmospheric of it and i developed a interest about abandoned and forgotten places. That's why later i did start playing Metro and Fallout, and doing urbex.

So i was really thriled when i discovered This Is Not A Test from Worlds End Publishing, and Zona Alfa.

The first one in setted in the post apocalyptic wasteland of the Tri-State Wasteland where differents factions fight to survive in it, from mutants to technologic advanced Preservers. The other one take place in eastern Europe after a nuclear incident, people are scavanging the ruins, trying to sell wathever they can find, from guns, to exotic and dangerous artiefacts.

So here is the starter of my team of scavangers (caravaners) a unusual group of people but you do what you gotta do to survive.

In the zone not everyone is here to scavange the dangerous and perious places for artiefacts, some are just here to robb people for easy loot, they are often found near the cordon, some are further in the zone such as Senka a veteran used to the zone.

Stepan is one of those without a faction he is often teaming up with other if the situation is needed but exploring the waste is faster alone, and building a trusting relationship with someone take time and can be dangerous. He got acclimated to the rude and dangerous place that the wasteland is and can call it 'home' a deadly one, but familiar.

Exploring the zone is one thing but studying it, learning how it work is another one, some are dedicated to that such as Volkov, he is part of a expeditionary unit who got trapped by mutants and now try to survive and continuating his analyse on site.
