Image
A few weeks ago i started playing Ranger of Shadow deep and since there was a little voice in my head telling me that i was needing a little diversity in term of kind of soldier to be able to deploy on the table, and in the same time making a Mordheim/AoS starter unit. S o here is the start of my differents type of classes of soldiers for RoSD and other kind of games. Archer/Crossbowman Are soldier with a higher dexterity than the other and have been handpicked for special training. Guardsman  Your basic soldier enforcing the rules of the lord Knight  A noble men mastering swordfighting has a art recruit Under equiped, and with only the basic knowledge, nearly worthless on the battlefield but the new generation of fighters. Some could become valuable member. * * * With that i have a lot to get started on my human warband!

Image
L ast time i was at the flea market in Brussel i spotted a stand with lots of cars for around 0.50c piece so i jumped on it, it's always useful to have one or more to add to the board. Fiat 500 Rust * * * 1- First step is a layer of oil paint: Burnt Sienna i used the Burnt Sienna #221 from Daler Rowney and some mixt of Burnt Sienna and Burnt Umber to add some varieties on the model. Wait for it to fully dry it can take from 24 to 72h depending on the paint. 2- Next is a thin coat of either varnish ( i did use that on my model but don't recommand it it's to adhesive and can rip the first layer of oil) or cheap airspray (didn't got one because of the lockdown thanks covid19). Directly after spraying add some salt on where you want the rust to appear. ( i did use some big chunk of sea salt). 3- Now Airbrush time, choose the color that you want to to be rusted, i did use Army Painter Voidshield blue. When dry gently brush th

O ne of the first game i can remember playing when i was a kid is Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, that game had a huge impact on me, loved the athmospheric of it and i developed a interest about abandoned and forgotten places. T he first one in setted in the post apocalyptic wasteland of the Tri-State Wasteland where differents factions fight to survive in it, from mutants to technologic advanced Preservers. The other one take place in eastern Europe after a nuclear incident, people are scavanging the ruins, trying to sell wathever they can find, from guns, to exotic and dangerous artiefacts. II. AoS 28: Vampire And Knights

Image
M y first models for AoS28 Vampire Necrarch Vampire Lord Hieronymus Converted from a  Chaos Sorcerer T his is my take on a Vampire lord of the house of Necrarch, since warhammer isn't making any new vampire i thought of making mine and my first step into converting a miniature from the range. I never played Vampire Count in WHFB but always liked the artwork of them especially the face of the Necrarch who remind me a little about the Nosferatu movie. Artwork Knights * T he Knights are amongst the most valorous fighters and well trained soldier in the battlefield, they start training at a young age and never stop mastering the art of the sword and court, they are not only knight of the realm but also ambassador if needed or even judge. They carry the voice of their lord as far there path guide them. I always loved the tales of armored knight charging on the battlefield or errant knight on a adventure to save some Lady or fight alone for

I. The Vernissage: What's the Gallery?

Welcome to the Gallery! My name is Storran , i'm in the Hobby of painting, moddeling, converting since a few years. I'm a huge fan of medieval fantasy and all the eeire thing that float around it, and Post Apocalyptic you know some of it: Stalker and Metro, or the Great Fallout franchise for exemple. Hieronymus Van Aken is a great source of inspiration for me, his way of creating monsters, and his colour palette have influanced me to have a darker way of painting, that's why i think i don't have that colorful high fantasy style of painting miniature, i'm more into grim and desaturated paint. For the miniatures i'm just starting to convert some of them from multiple brands and material, plastic, resin, metal; from Games Workshop, Perry Miniature... The goal of this page is to document and display my journey into the Hobby. Here you will see my wild and twisted creation, it'll be growing for as long as possible, the Gallery could bec
